Fr. Christian Baron
Interim Priest-in-Charge
The Rev. Christian John Baron joined St. Paul's in May 2024 as the Interim Priest-In-Charge. Fr. Baron comes to St. Paul’s from his last assignment as Priest-in-Charge at St. John's Episcopal Church in Crawfordsville, IN, and will be with St. Paul’s through December.

Fr. Christian was ordained as a priest in 2014 getting his Masters of Divinity with a Hispanic Church Studies Emphasis from the Seminary of the Southwest, Austin, TX. He has led churches in Indiana, Michigan and Texas and has served as a youth minister and as a chaplain in a trauma setting.
He lives in Cincinnati with his wife, the Rev. Canon Jodi Baron, and their three teenaged daughters Montana, Gretchen and Magnolia. Fr. Christian enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, traveling and listening to good music.

Otto Anderson
Deacon
Otto Anderson was ordained deacon on June 13, 2009 and served at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church until November 2012. He then answered the call to serve at Christ Church in Springfield, OH for three years before returning to St Paul’s in December 2017.
Otto and his wife Jamie have been married 19 years. They have a daughter Emilee, who works for Operation Smile in Virginia Beach, VA and a son Nathan, who works for Kroger in Bloomington, IN. Otto and his late first wife adopted Emilee and Nathan from South Korea in the late 1980’s. They are now raising their grandchildren, 13-year old twins Kayla and Jeremiah. Family pets include Ruby the English bulldog, Tabby (cat), Leonardo (Testudo Hermanni), Wiggles (Mephitis Mephitis), and Fish.
Otto has certificates from Sewanee, Education for Ministry, and the Diocese of Southern Ohio, School for the Diaconate, as well as an MS in Administration, a BS in Aeronautical Engineering, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science. Otto has spent over 40 years working for the Air Force, retiring as a Major in 1997, and continuing on as a contractor for several companies. Most of his career has been within the Intelligence Community.
Otto is involved with ministry to Episcopal Retirement Services affordable housing at Shawnee Place in Springfield where he conducts a Bible Study with the residents. He says his most spiritually challenging ministry is raising the twins!
