The Stained Glass of St. Paul's Church

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church was built in its current location in 1956-57. The church contracted the William Morris Studio in London, UK for the art, with Frederick Walter Cole as the chief artist on the project. Gifts given in memory of loved ones or in thanksgiving largely covered the cost of the windows.

The women of the church recorded the history of the windows and the stories they tell in a booklet called The Windows of St. Paul’s. The booklet was pain stakingly hand-lettered and illustrated. You can download a copy of the book here.

St. Paul’s offers tours of the windows to interested groups. Contact us to schedule a tour.
