This Advent season, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Youth Mission Project Interfaith invite you to participate in gifting the guests that shop at Dayton Episcopal Food Pantry! Sharing is caring this holiday season!
Starting on Dec 3, the first day of Advent, we invite you to begin filling a basket, wrapped box, plastic bin or other container, with food! Each day of Advent, add a couple of items to the container. Our hope is that families who receive a gift basket will have 3 or 4 meals for up to 6 people. The Food Pantry will top off the basket with a small turkey or ham. This is a surprise for Pantry guests! A Christmas gift! Over and above what they regularly receive. So include special items for the holday! Our goal is 150 gift baskets!!! SIgn up at the link below:
This is designed to be a daily giving challenge; however, Advent goes through Dec. 24th this year. So in order that families have time to prepare, we have moved up giving dates. FInished baskets should be delivered one of two ways: Dec 15, 7-8pm @ St. Paul’s or Dec. 16, 8-9am at St. Andrew’s, where the pantry is located. Contact Ann Couch (937-776-7817) or Jean Berry
(937) 369-8532 with any questions.
